Let’s be real, at $28 apiece these are hardly the cheapest. But after ordering and wearing a couple (the black and red brocade versions) I have to say they’re well worth the money.

First off, the physical design is amazing. The raised nose ridge fits perfectly and allows you to keep the mask up over your nose without also threatening to obscure your vision or get in the way of glasses. The rest of the mask fits snugly but comfortably and hooks slightly under your chin which is great for the fit as well. The rounded front sticks out slightly so you aren’t constantly inhaling the mask into your mouth. The inner layer of the mask is soft, like a baby blowing kisses on your face, while the outside feels firm and durable. It’s easy to fold in half so you slip it into a pocket if need be.

Of course, the big thing is the brocade design. I was tired of plain black or white masks and these are a major style upgrade. I’m always a fan of brocade and the designs on these are really lovely. The stitching appears to be really well done so I doubt I will experience issues with wear anytime soon. The black-on-black is subtle, but noticeable so it works well for when you’re looking for something less showy but still classy.

At this point I kind of wish I’d gotten the pack of all 5 colors for even more options, but I do like the black and red ones the best so I’m happy. I highly recommend these!
