Enter the Eternal Night: Rules & How to Play

The battle for The Eternal Throne has begun. Sixty-four vampires, each a legend in their own right, have been chosen to face off in the ultimate tournament of darkness. Strength, cunning, and raw power will determine who reigns supreme—but their fate lies in your hands.

This is more than just a popularity contest. Each match is a Celebrity Deathmatch-style showdown, where strategy and combat ability should guide your vote. Do you favor the ancient terror of the Aristocrats? The untamed savagery of the Beasts? The defiant will of the Rebels? Or the eerie myths of the Legends? Only one will survive.

Read on for the official rules and how to play, including how your predictions could win a year’s worth of access for you and a friend to the Vampire Lounges in Salem and Endless Night New England events!*

General Rules

• Free to Enter – No purchase necessary to participate.
• One Entry Per Person – Individuals may only enter once. Any attempts to enter multiple times will result in disqualification.

Tournament Format

• 64 Vampires, 4 Clans – The tournament features 64 vampires, divided into four clans: Rebels, Aristocrats, Beasts, and Legends.
• Seeding System – Each vampire is assigned a seed (ranking) based on strength and popularity.
• Single-Elimination Matches – Vampires face off in one-on-one battles, with the winner advancing to the next round.

Tournament Format - Awakening Round:

• In the first round, known as the Awakening Round, the highest-seeded Vampire will face off against the lowest-seeded Vampire. The matchups will be as follows:
  • Seed 1 vs Seed 16
  • Seed 2 vs Seed 15
  • Seed 3 vs Seed 14
  • Seed 4 vs Seed 13
  • Seed 5 vs Seed 12
  • Seed 6 vs Seed 11
  • Seed 7 vs Seed 10
  • Seed 8 vs Seed 9
• Winners from each match will advance to the next round. Note that future rounds will NOT be reseeded, so matchups will proceed based on the bracket structure.

How Voting Works

• Click on the "Voting Button" for each of the Clans: You will be guided through each of the battles in the first round where you will cast your prediction. Be sure to submit your predictions for EACH CLAN!
• Enter Your Info: You will need to enter your name and email address when you click on the VOTING BUTTON for each Clan.
• Come Back and Vote! You will be able to vote for each round of matchups in order to determine which Vampire advances to the next round. (THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR BRACKET PREDICTIONS!)
  
• Determined by Popular Vote – The winner of each match is decided by the total number of votes received.
• One Vote Per Match – You may vote in every matchup, but only once per battle.
• Software-Blocked Re-Voting – If you attempt to vote multiple times in the same matchup, the system will prevent additional votes.
• "Celebrity Death Match" Battle Style – While you can vote for your favorite vampire, we encourage you to think about how they would actually perform in battle.
• Match Ties - In the rare event of a tie between Vampires in any match, the Admins will conduct 5 simulations between the participants.

• • The Vampire who wins the majority of these 5 simulations will advance to the next round.
  • A summary of the simulation results will be posted publicly for all participants to view.

Bracket Predictions & Grand Prize

• Pre-Tournament Bracket Submission – Before the tournament begins, you must submit your full bracket, predicting the winner of each matchup.
• Bracket Submission Deadline - Once the tournament has started, full bracket predictions are not possible.
  
• Success Percentage Tracking – Your score is based on how many correct picks you made in your Bracket Submission. Your standing is tracked and reported as the tournament progresses.
• Winning the Prize – The player with the highest percentage of correct predictions in their Bracket Submission will win:
  🎟 A pair of tickets to every Vampire Lounge and Endless Night Salem event for ONE YEAR!
• Accuracy Tie: If multiple players have the same accuracy percentage at the conclusion of a round, both players will win the prize.

Voting Deadlines & Fair Play

• Pre-Posted Voting Deadlines – All voting deadlines are published in advance. Once a deadline passes, votes or bracket submissions cannot be manually entered by admins. This is strictly enforced in order to maintain the integrity of the game.
• No Manual Adjustments – We cannot override the system for missed votes or bracket submissions.

*No purchase necessary to enter or win. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years or older. Void where prohibited by law. The winner(s) of Vamp Madness will receive two (2) ticket granting entry to all Vampfangs events in 2025. These events include: All Vampire Lounges produced by Vampfangs, and all Endless Night New England Vampire Salons, Grand Salons, and Balls. For the avoidance of doubt, this applies ONLY to the Endless Night NEW ENGLAND events and DOES NOT apply to any Endless Night events that take place outside of New England States.
