After Over 25 Years, Vampfangs is No Longer Selling Contact Lenses

After more than two decades of offering a wide range of contact lenses to complement our iconic style, Vampfangs has made the difficult decision to stop selling contact lenses. This decision comes after careful consideration of several factors that have impacted our ability to serve our community with the same level of excellence and commitment to safety that you’ve come to expect from us.

The main reason for this shift lies in the increasing complexity of communicating the legal requirements surrounding contact lenses. Many of our customers may not realize that, regardless of whether or not the lenses have corrective strength, all contact lenses require a valid prescription. This regulation is crucial for ensuring the safety and health of your eyes, as improper use can lead to serious risks like infections, irritation, and long-term damage. Unfortunately, it became more and more difficult to effectively communicate this requirement and ensure that all customers were following the correct procedures.

In addition to this challenge, we’ve seen an alarming rise in overseas competition that does not adhere to these critical safety regulations or verifying perseciptions. These sellers offer contact lenses without proper oversight or guidance, putting their customers at risk. While they may appear to offer convenience of speed without verification or lower prices, the long-term safety concerns are simply too great for us to ignore. We found it incredibly difficult to continue to provide lenses in this market.

We want to reassure our loyal customers that we are still here for all your vampiric needs—our signature fangs, accessories, and fashion are still available for purchase. As always, we remain dedicated to providing high-quality, stylish products that help you express your unique, elegant identity.
