Tea Recipe for Wellness and Beauty

Countess Elizabeth Bathory, also known as the “Blood Countess,” was a Hungarian noblewoman who lived in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. According to legend, Bathory believed that bathing in the blood of virgins would keep her skin youthful and help maintain her beauty.

While we DO NOT agree with harming others in any way, we DO believe in beauty and wellness- we’re Vampires after all! As MODERN Vampires, we have found other ways to help us obtain the most beautiful skin, hair and nails.

Hibiscus is known for its high antioxidant content, which can help protect cells from damage and may also have blood pressure-lowering effects.

Apple pieces are a good source of fiber, which can help with digestion and weight management. Blue cornflowers are used to add color and beauty to the tea and also have some antioxidant properties.

Raspberries and strawberry are rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants which can help protect cells from damage and also have anti-inflammatory effects. Recipe:

Mixing all the antioxidants of the Countess Tea with a rich Chocolate Collagen makes for the best drinking beauty ritual. This is one of Alexis Pharae’s daily recipe for wellness. She uses Primal Chocolate Collagen, because it does NOT contain dairy, whey, soy, sugar, gluten and it tastes amazing!

Ingredients:

The Countess Tea, One  Tea Sachet

One Serving, Primal Chocolate Collagen

16oz. Hot Water

Directions:

1. Add one serving of Primal Chocolate Collagen to a large mug or cup.

2. Add 16oz. hot water. Allow the water to gently simmer, not getting too hot. The desired temperature is not a very hot cup but comfortable to sip as the hotter temperature will make the Collagen thicker and form clumps.

3. Stir the Collagen well until dissolved.

4. Fill one disposable Dark Alchemy Loose Tea Filter Bag with The Countess Tea. Add Tea Sachet to the warm Collagen mix and enjoy!

Collagen is a protein that is found in the skin, hair, nails, and joints. As we age, the natural production of collagen in our body decreases, leading to wrinkles, thinning hair, and weaker joints. Adding more Collagen to our diets can help to support the health and appearance of the skin, hair, nails, and joints.

Collagen may help to improve the appearance of the skin by reducing wrinkles, improving skin elasticity, and increasing hydration. They may also help to promote stronger, healthier hair and nails by providing the body with the building blocks it needs to produce these structures. Additionally, adding collagen may help to support joint health by providing the body with the raw materials it needs to repair and rebuild cartilage.

It’s important to note that more research is needed to fully understand the effects of collagen supplements on overall health, but they may be a useful option for those looking to support the health and appearance of their skin, hair, nails, and joints. It’s always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any dietary supplement.
