What to wear: Endless Night Babylon

The Endless Night Babylon (Grande Vampire Salon) is coming up and we are so excited to be in Boston! We produce several events in New England throughout the year, all leading up to our Main Event: the Endless Night Salem Vampire Ball!

What is Endless Night Babylon?

Designed to honor the Goddess and Vampiric Royalty, Babylon tips its hat to this intention throughout the evening. Readings, ritual and dance set the stage to pay these respects. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, an expansive bar, stunning decor for over the top photo backdrops and the most glamorous Vampire guests in attendance. Babylon is a sensory experience that is mysterious, beautiful and beyond satisfying. This intimate event will host roughly 150 local and like minded visitors.

At Babylon, guests wear semi-formal Red on Red, Black on Black, or a combination of Red and Black. No other colors are permitted at Babylon. This is to honor the feminine power of Kitra and Vampiric royalty.

It’s All About the Red and Black.

Endless Night Babylon (Grande Vampire Salon) is a semi-formal event that requires all black or red (or a combination red/black) attire. Absolutely no other colored clothing is allowed at Babylon. You will not make it past the Gatekeeper. We will see a full range of black and red outfits… ranging from the sleek, sexy, little black dresses all the way to the over-the-top Victorian head to toe classic Vampire looks. Jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, hats, and sportswear are not allowed.

Gold and silver jewelry and accessories are okay, but remember that moderation is key. If you have color in your hair or makeup, that is totally fine too! But remember… absolutely NO OTHER COLORS of clothing or accessories of any kind. As always, if you have specific questions, just reach out!

Fashion is Our Jam.

High fashion, couture, elaborate headdresses, gowns, and suits are all commonplace. Peek through the gallery to see some of the amazing outfits from past Babylon Events in different cities.

We obviously encourage vampire fangs and fx contact lenses as well. We can help with that! While you will see lots of elaborate outfits, it’s not required in order to attend. You can’t go wrong with a classy black dress or suit! Just make sure you wear a black dress shirt (no white allowed for this event).

Places and Designers to Try.

A lot of amazing dresses we have found come from local vintage and thrift boutiques. Definitely our favorite first stop for vintage is Great Eastern Trading in Cambridge.

Founded in 1969, Great Eastern Trading was one of the first vintage stores in the Boston area. Find unique clothing for all genders, binary and nonbinary. The store carries statement items: gorgeous corsets, suede jackets with long fringe, and vintage frocks.

Also check out Vivant Vintage in Allston and Castanet on Newbury Street (Boston) for gorgeous designer threads.

Piecing it Together….

Want to create a new unique outfit from scratch? We do this ALL the time and love all the varieties we use to make something uniquely us.

We love adding bodysuits with skirts for a modern Vampire silhouette. Vampfangs has a wide variety of bodysuits and lingerie in stock. For killer skirts and shoes, check out our friends in Salem at Die with Your Boots on

For a killer Masculine look, we love vests by Shrine of Hollywood and elegant pants from Straight from Hell

Adding over the top gorgeous accessories from Hysteria Machine is always the perfect way to finish any outfit.

Dress Code Don’ts

Now that we have covered the Do’s, we should probably cover the “don’ts” as well. It’s important to know what types of clothing that we do not allow at Endless Night Babylon. Guests wearing any of these items will not be allowed in. Our Gatekeeper will turn them away.

The list should be pretty clear and self explanatory… but you can always reach out to us if you have any questions and we can help!

No color other than red or black, no sneakers, flip flops, sandals, street clothes, t-shirts, baseball caps, sports jerseys, khakis, or blue jeans. No superhero costumes, other cartoon or costumed characters, uniforms or symbolism that depict any form of neo-nazism, fascist or anti-fascist symbolism.

We’re Excited to See You!

We know there is a lot of information in this post, but hopefully it helped to give you an inside look at the Endless Night Babylon dress code! There are different types of events that we produce here in New England, and each of them has a different dress code and experience.

All of the New England  events culminate with our main event: the Endless Night Salem Vampire Ball! There are different ticket options available, depending on the experience you are looking for. If you are interested in the full immersive experience, the VIV Weekend Pass has what you need.

We hope to see you at one of the events. If you have any questions, please reach out… we are here to help!
